Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut revealed the poster of her upcoming film – Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi – at Dasaswamedh ghat in Varanasi. She also took a dip in the holy waters of Ganga and performed the Ganga aarti. Kangana was accompanied by the crew of her film and her mom, Asha.
Donning a golden saree, which she teamed with an orange brocade blouse and traditional jewellery, Kangana not only offered prayers but also took a dip in the holy waters of the Ganges and chanted “Har Har Mahadev”.
Directed by Krissh, the film will see Kangana playing the warrior queen, Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi in a film titled ‘Manikarnika- The Queen of Jhansi.’
The film will hit the theatres on April 27 next year.
