The Prime Ministers of India Narendra Modi and Bangladesh’s Sheikh Hasina are set to be in attendance for the Test match between India and Bangladesh in at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
According to numerous reports, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) have sent an invitation to the PMs of both nations to come and attend the Test between the neighbouring sides.
Even though any official confirmation about it is yet to be made public but reports suggest that both PMs would be there.
In the past, the then India’s and Pakistan’s Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and Yousaf Raza Gilani attend a high voltage match between the two countries during a World Cup 2011 clash at Mohali.
While Bangladesh has already announced their 15-man team for the T20I series, Virat Kohli led India will be announcing there’s on October 24 with the new BCCI President Sourav Ganguly joining the selection committee for the first time.
